Class levels are only approximate estimates for the corresponding grade and age listed. As a general guideline, Dance Lab, Tap, Tumbling, and Acrobatics students should enroll in each level for two years before progressing to the next level. Ballet III & IV Requirements - Students enrolled in Ballet III & IV are required to meet twice a week; once for an independent technique class, and once for a ballet ensemble class (see schedule below). Students with time constraints may substitute their required ballet ensemble class with private or semi-private lessons taken on a weekly basis with their Halestone teacher. Tap I & II Requirements - To qualify for tap instruction, students must take an additional dance technique class. (This policy assures that students are being provided with the highest level of tap instruction and a more standardized system for progress.)

Ballet IV, V, & VI Requirements - Students enrolled in Ballet IV, V, & VI are required to meet twice a week; once for an independent technique class, and once for a ballet ensemble class (see schedule below). With the exception of Dance Conditioning and Social Dance, classes listed for high school students are for advanced dancers only. Beginning or intermediate high school dancers are encouraged to choose classes from the middle school chart in order to build their technical abilities before attempting more advanced work. Ballet VII Requirements - Students enrolled in Ballet VII are required to attend the Monday, 6:00 p.m. technique class and at least one other advanced level ballet class (either Ballet Lab or Point & Variations). Students may enroll in all 3 of the advanced ballet classes if they wish or augment their required ballet class schedule with private or semi-private lessons taken on a weekly or monthly basis with their Halestone teacher. Tap IV Guidelines - It is strongly recommended though not required that Tap IV students take at least one other technique class a week to support their progress as tap dancers.
HIGH SCHOOL
Dance Conditioning AM registration is offered through our special, Halestone Benefit Plan. (You choose the plan, you determine the benefits!) Classes are scheduled in 8-12 week series with reduced rates for clients taking multiple classes per week. Benefit Plan class credits are interchangeable for either Dance Conditioning AM or PM classes. (CLICK HERE for registration information.)
To register for Adult Tap, follow the directions for Halestone’s regular class registration.
Halestone Yoga registrants for can either sign-up as regular students by the semester or full year or for a limited series of 6-8 week classes.
