Turns and Spirals (age 12+)

Class Description

From classic pirouettes to turning jumps and spirals to the floor, this three day workshop focuses on the technique of rotational movement across ballet, jazz, and contemporary styles. Instructor: Riley Kuehner is a Halestone alum and recent graduate of Oberlin College, where he studied Dance and East Asian Studies. He has trained in a range of techniques such as contemporary, modern, jazz, ballet, tap, and clogging. Returning to his Halestone roots, he is excited to lead classes in clogging as well as offering a workshop focused on technique for turning.
