"Halestone is a second home for me. My experience here goes beyond the ability to learn a wide range of styles including those that are less commonly found in other studios such as clogging and contact improvisation. Beyond teaching technique, Halestone brings children into the creative process by guiding them to develop their own choreographic and improvisational skills. There is an emphasis on the joy and love of dancing rather than perfection, bringing us together in community rather than separating us through competition. My Halestone experiences continue to inspire my dancing today as I seek quality connections with the dancers and artists I encounter and feel confident in my ability to collaborate with them.
