About the Course
Ballet I and Ballet II are for students who would like to continue their studies in ballet past Pre- Ballet. Evelyn Warren will be working with our ballerinas again this coming year and will introduce more technique and style into these classes. Ballet I and Ballet II classes will consist of several movements and combinations, usually going through; barre, center, adagio, allegro and reverence with French terminology.
Ballet II is for students ages 10 and up. *If you took Ballet I last year and are of age, you should join this class in 2023-2024*

Mikaela Schon
Mikaela is a First Year at Washington and Lee University with an undecided major, and an intended dance minor. She grew up in Newport News, VA, dancing since the age of 4. After experiencing performance opportunities in her high school competitive Show Choir and her dance studio's Nutcracker Ballet and yearly recitals, she is excited to become involved with W&L's dance company. Along with that, she can't wait to become acquainted with every member of Halestone through collaboration and creativity!
